What pleasure it would be to work between books, to see thousands on shelves, to see them all new and I would be the first one to take a peak.

Well, my dream came true last week. As of last Tuesday I work at The American Book Center. It is a book shop here in The Netherlands, that only sells British and American books (and magazines). I’m just ecstatic!

Last weekend I worked my first three days and it was great. What I already noticed about working with books is, you have to try not to get too greedy. It is way too easy to grab every book you had on your wish list.
Well…I could contain myself and only went home with two ‘new’ secondhand books.

Let’s see what the future has in (book) store for me.
