literary vacation update #1

Finally found a wifi spot that is not secured so I can update some information.
Some change in plans have been happening and the vacation will probably be less literary than I thought at the beginning. The little bookshop town Hay-on-Wye will not be visited by me this time around, but Bath is still one plan I have not meddled with yet. Furthermore, I will probably visit two or three houses and gardens were the Hollywood people shot the film Pride and prejudice.

Yesterday I went to Lulworth Castle and Thomas Hardy (the famous author) had something to do with the architecture of the little church of St. Andrew on the premises. So that’s kind of literary right?
And I learned there that Hardy’s Casterbridge is his name for Dorchester. That’s nice to know.

Last but not least, I have seen Sally in the meantime and here is a picture of her:

As I mentioned, I am just watching Pride & Prejudice again!
I’m sure it’s a lot of fun being there.
Shame about Bookshopville, any particular reason?

  • Hay-on-Wye might still happen, but I’m not doing Wales at all. There is too much to see here in Dorset. I just will not fit in the present plans.
There always should be something to be desired right?
