
Dexter Morgan is, on the outside a lovable creature. He is handsome, well behaved, has a good job as an analyst with the police and has sort of a girlfriend. He could be as normal as a person is able to. But he is not. He has a dark side, a very dark side: his Dark Passenger. And this passenger is a serial killer, without emotions and feelings. But it’s also a picky serial killer because he only kills other murderers. That’s what Dexter been thought by his foster dad Harry, a policeman. Dexter has to abide Harry’s rules to keep himself out of trouble and to look as human as he can.
But trouble he is in: another serial killer is on the loose and along the way Dexter notices the killer is making it personal, too personal!

Richard Wisden is a television celebrity. He has his own garden shows and is very popular. So why would he commit suicide in a hotel room? A question Libby Wisden is desperate to answer. In fact, she doesn’t believe he killed him self, she is convinced her late husband was murdered. Determent and wealthy as she is, she hires different people (a detective, doctor, photographer to name a few) to figure out specific facts and insights concerning Richard’s death. Not an easy task, because along the way secrets, lies and unknown truths come to light and Richard’s life turns out to be as knotted as his gardens.

Two children, twins, are brought in the hospital after their adoptive parents are brutally murdered. The girl is in shock, the boy has severe head trauma. Doctor Kenzo Tenma, a Japanese man working and living in Germany, saves the life of this young boy called Johan against the wishes of the director of the hospital, and father of his fiancee Eva. Not a smart move in many ways. He discredits himself with the director and with Eva, who lost her interest in Kenzo overnight, and secondly, and most importantly, he seems to have saved not just a boy, but a boy that proves to be a Monster.
