it had to be you — sarah webb

Three women, Molly, Paige and Kate, all have some goals they still haven’t reached. So although they are content with their lives some things are missing. For Molly and Kate a reliable male mate is missing and Paige wants to be a deputy. When all the goals are in hands reach it all seems so easy to grab it all, but especially then life gets more and more difficult. All three women have to look at themselves (and their pasts) to get noticed by the others. A harsh but necessary task if they want true happiness and a full life.

2009 in books

I just finished my first book for 2010 and realised I didn’t post my read book of 2009. Although I didn’t read that much, I picked good ones. Not all, of course, that would be inhuman but still.…I did good overall.

cocktail time — p.g. wodehouse

Frederick, Earl of Ickenham, is still a boy at heart. He is loud, some would say obnoxious, optimistic and sociable very present. But when he hangs out of a window in his favorite pub and catapults the hat off of his brother in law, a grumpy barrister, he couldn’t have imagined what kind of actions he sets in motion. Actions he will be in over his head, but also enjoys tremendously. Who could have thought that a catapult could result in a scandalous bestseller, a film script, strange romantic entanglements and the awakening of a dodgy couple.
